Offered by CompassPoint and the Grassroots Institute for Fundraising Training (GIFT), this 8 month program provides training, coaching and peer learning so that participants acquire donor development skills and build the key organizational strengths that are essential to raising money within communities of color. Participants cite the Academy as a unique resource that changes their attitudes and beliefs of fundraising, and transforms their group’s approach to developing new sources of income. This Academy is for organizations in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz counties and will begin October 2008. Applications accepted through September 8th 2008.
