Development Director~The Development Director has the ultimate responsibility of implementing a fundraising plan that incorporates a range of strategies including: annual appeals, events, corporate and individual donors and grants.  The Development Director will be responsible for fundraising, overseeing donor management files and maintaining mailing lists and will work closely with the Executive Director to further the vision and mission of Equality Pennsylvania. Associate Development Director~The Associate Development Director’s primary function is to maintain internal fundraising operations. These responsibilities include:

  • Manage and track day to day operations of fundraising, including contribution processing, internal operations and donor maintenance.
  • Provide timely reports to Board Fundraising Chair and Development Director on Board fundraising efforts and contributions.
  • Work with Operations Manager and Accountant to compile and submit any required campaign finance reports.
  • Manage fiscal year fundraising plans for all entities, including updating with current income projections and actuals.
  • Compose and prepare donor appreciation letters on a regular basis.
  • Manage donor research, call sheet preparation, and data entry of notes, information and pledges.
  • Assist with grant research and preparation.
  • Participate in the staff event planning team for signature and other fundraising events.
  • Maintain recurring donor contribution program.
  • Retain timely and accurate donor records.
