The ideal candidate will be able to manage FVAP’s grants reporting for $700,000/year in government contracts, including coordinating, compiling, and submitting narrative, data, and financial reports; and will ensure the efficiency and accuracy of FVAP’s reporting process. Family Violence Appellate Project is seeking a fundraising and communications professional to join our dynamic team in Oakland, California, for a significant development role in support of social justice. We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. FVAP’s clientele is very diverse, and we serve individuals and advocates throughout the state, including rural, suburban, and urban populations. The ideal candidate will bring unique skills and experiences that help the candidate successfully lead the fundraising and communications strategy of a $1.1 million organization; lead donor recruitment and cultivation efforts, including major gifts; plan and manage annual fundraising events; and be willing to pitch in wherever needed to support the mission of our small nonprofit.
