ABOUT THE POSITION:  Guided by feminist principles and an
international activist board of directors, Urgent Action Fund supports
women’s equality through our Rapid-Response Grantmaking – making small
grants quickly to support the urgent needs of women’s human rights
activists around the world.  The organization is 15 years old, and has
recently moved to San Francisco with new leadership. Reporting
directly to the Executive Director, the Development Director will have
significant responsibility for strategy and implementation of a plan
to raise at least $1.3M annually, including supervising development
staff, managing grants, major donors, and development systems.
