The National Breast Cancer Coalition has revolutionized the advocate role in breast cancer research, access to care, and public policy. NBCC leads a grassroots movement in the search for both the cause of breast cancer and a cure. The Coalition is dedicated to eradicating breast cancer through the power of action and advocacy .
NBCC seeks a creative, mission-driven development professional to serve as the Vice President of Development. As part of the senior management team reporting to the President, the Vice President of Development will lead the strategic growth and diversification of philanthropic support.
Requirements: Passionate dedication to the Coalition's mission and goals; proven experience strategically increasing and diversifying philanthropic revenue within a fast-paced, mission-focused advocacy environment; track record of closing significant gifts; experience with foundations, corporations, major gifts, special events, direct mail, telemarketing, and cause-related marketing; ability to provide strategic direction, leadership, support, and daily management of fund-raising initiatives, including effective staff management; collaborative and proactive style.
